Bio
Adele Dipasquale (1994, Italy) is a visual artist who lives and works between Turin and The Hague, Netherlands. Working with different media such as moving images, film, voice experimentation and writing, their artistic practice explores the politics of language. Their work has been exhibited internationally at art institutions and film festivals such as: Una Boccata d'Arte, Fondazione Elpis (IT, 2025); Institute for Postnatural Studies (ES, 2025); London Short Film Festival (UK, 2025); Art Rotterdam (NL, 2025, 2024); Rotterdam International Film Festival (NL, 2024); Bologna Art City (IT, 2024); Sonnenstube (CH, 2023); The Clemente (US, 2023); Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen (DE, 2023, 2022). Their practice has been supported by various research grants and awards from institutions such as Mondriaan Fonds (NL), Cripta747 (IT), Stroom Den Haag (NL), Creatività Contemporanea Mic (IT). They have recently been artist in residence at GAMeC Bergamo (IT), Artistes en Residence, Clermont Ferrand (FR), Casino Display, Luxembourg and Nuovo Forno del Pane MAMbo, Bologna (IT). They are also part of the collective and artist-run lab Filmwerkplaats Rotterdam, a group of artists focusing on the use of analogue film in contemporary art practices.
