Spirit Talks is series of short mute B&W 16mm films. These videos are inspired by the history of ‘spirit photography’, where, coeval to the initial diffusion of the photographic medium, a big interest in spiritism arose. At the time, many female channelers gained the attention of the positivist scientific community who wanted to use photography as a way to prove or disprove the magical summonings.
